Storm watches always look great. It is comfotable to wear and feels solid which underlines its quality. It has often drawn admiring comments from friends and work colleagues when worn. I still have my Storm 'Camera' watch I bought new in 1994-ish which still works fine. I re-discovered Storm watches in the last couple of months and have since bought a Styro and this Hydron and all three, side by side look fab.

I can understand this watch was out of stock. So I waited am glad I did . It is a stunning watch and am glad I purchased this. Now stop making such good watches you will bankrupt me.
Truly a joy to wear

I was a huge fan of storm watches back in the day. In the 80's, there was a storm store on Queen St. In Toronto, and every weekend I went downtown, I'd always stop in, see what's new. Over a few years, I bought and still have at least half a dozen watches from them, and even a pair of sunnies.

I was delighted to see them come back with new products, and I was torn between 2 new loves, the one with the squiggly hour/minute hand, and the more normal-ish blue hydron model.

After deciding on the squiggly ftw, I kept coming back and looking at the hydron anyway, and it's no surprise I ended up buying that one also now. The blue is phenomenal, the watches themselves are true to the high design, solidly built and cool watches just like back in the day. They just feel like quality all around, and are, to be perfectly honest, great additions to the ones already in my collection. And my collection right now has easily crossed 250 watches. I am a sucker for great design, and believe even if most people these days eschew wearing a watch, because the time is right there on their cellphone, I still believe a man should have a quality watch.

It is more than a thing for telling time, it is a fashion statement, and the style speaks volumes about who you are, how you wish to be regarded as, playful or dressed up, there are enough different occasions that can call for owning more than just a single timepiece. So, if you appreciate great design and still enjoy wearing a horological device to help state who you are, and your sense of fashion and taste, you cannot go wrong with any of these new storm designs. They scream cool, definitely a talking point and absolutely without fail garnering comments and praise, I couldn't offer up a better example of modern, cool design, than a watch from storm. Ecstatic that they are resurgent (although my wallet isn't happy,lol). An easy top pick recommendation from a watch collector, who's inventory has at the top end a $14,000 watch, and at the low, a $5 Chinese special, and everything in-between, to say go ahead and buy with confidence. You will have a gorgeous well made timepiece, a conversation starter, a compliment magnet that won't break the bank. As a fan, I'm just very happy to see them back in the game. Excellent product, very decent shipping times from the u.k. to where I am here in Canada. Quality, from a respected brand from the good old days, you know, when I wore diagonal zippered shirts, had blonde highlights and thought Duran Duran was the bee's knees !

This is my third storm watch and my first one I bought back in 1991. That was a great watch and very different to anything else out there and my new Hydron razor blue v2 is equally as good a quite unique. Great feel and excellent quality
